The Golden pheasant - China

The Golden pheasant, native to Western hilly forests of China, but has been introduced to other parts lately.. Its a kind of gamebird about 90-150cm long, its white and black spotted tail takes 2/3 part of the body. The male is striking with gold crest and rump, orange cape with black stripe, deep red body, emerald back, yellow underpart, and many more colors like purple, silver. Female is just brown allover, some say its more beautiful than peacock when dancing....
